Sardegna Film Commission Hospitality Fund

Description

The Fund aims to attract investments to the audiovisual sector in Sardinia to benefit the region as a whole.
Funding covers the the costs spent in the territory during work on the audio-visual project, relative to:

lodgings (hotels, residences, apartment rental etc.): a maximum reimbursement of €200 per person per night;
food (restaurants, catering, craft lunches etc.): a maximum reimbursement of €40 per person per meal;
transport to and from the Region, transport within the Region (vehicle rental, including boats), excluding first and business class flights and taxi fares.

The total funding amount is €800,000 divided up as follows:

€700,000 for:
- Fictional and animated feature films (of a minimum duration of 75 minutes);
- Fictional and animated TV/web films (of a minimum duration of 75 minutes);
- Fictional and animated TV/web series (of a minimum duration of 100 minutes).
€50,000 for documentaries/docufictions/TV series/web documentaries
€50,000 for TV formats (no less than 3 weeks shooting in Sardinia)

Requirements

Expenses must be incurred in Sardinia between 01/01/2022 and 31/12/2022.

Payment schedule

The contribution can be disbursed in the following ways upon beneficiary’s request:

In two payments:

an advance, requested by the beneficiary, advance equal to 50% of the contribution granted, upon presentation of a fideussory guarantee for the amount requested;
the balance of the remaining 50%, following verification of the final accounting.

Ine payment: the entire amount offered in a single payment, following completion and verification of the final accounting.
