The Passo delle Erbe (Würzjoch) mountain pass connects the Val Badia (Gadertal) and Isarco (Eisacktal) valleys.
The pass is located at 2,003 meters and is surrounded by the Sasso delle Putia (Peitlerkofler) mountain group to the south and the Lüsener Mountains to the north. The road (strada provinciale 29) is quite narrow in some places, but well developed. The volume of traffic, in contrast to other Dolomite roads, is rather low. Road damage, such as cracks and holes, is common. In winter, the Passo delle Erbe is closed, but accessible from the Funes (Villnöß) side. There are several restaurants located along the Passo delle Erbe.
