Provvidenti (CB) is a small village of medieval origin, located at an altitude of 570 meters above sea level. The country has less than 100 residents mostly devoted to agricultural activity. The secondary road connects that to the Sannitica road (SS 87) about 3 km from the small town. The route of the Fondo Valle del Biferno (SS 647), which ensures quick connections with the Adriatic coast, runs instead 5 km from the town.
The old village is made up of old houses in good condition, close around the parish church and the baronial palace. Among the historical-cultural sites we mention the Sanctuary of S. Maria della Libera, one of the oldest of the Termoli-Larino Diocese, (VII century) and the Sanctuary of Santa Maria Assunta which dates back to 1200 and stands in the oldest part of country.
