Most of the circuits in the game are located in Italy. In the basic setup the player can race around the circuit of Imola (Emilia-Romagna), which is located on the outskirts of the town and has a rich history of car racing, the Mugello Circuit (Borgo San Lorenzo, Tuscany), which is located in the winding Tuscan hills, is owned by Ferrari and a is favourite among drivers, the famous Monza Circuit (Lombardy), which is in the middle of the countryside and dates back almost a century, the Vallelunga Circuit (Campagnano di Roma, Lazio), just north of Rome, which is also located near an archaeological site from Ancient Rome, and last but not least, Magione (Umbria), a circuit which was created in the 1970s near Lake Trasimeno. The team has put a lot of care into recreating the settings around the tracks, using meticulous laser scans and a good graphics engine.

Racing game
The game unfolds like a real driving simulator, which has been praised by critics for its realistic quality. Although the use of a steering wheel and pedals are recommended for enjoying the experience to the full, players can of course play with just a joypad or keyboard. There are several gameplay modes (Time Trial, Career and Special Events, like drifting competitions), which can be played with a whole host of cars presented in the greatest of detail. Worth mentioning is that the game has a solid community of users, which is committed to modifying the vehicles and circuits of the game through editing tools made available by the developers.
