The Falchi (lit. ‘falcons’) are special police officers who work in the streets of a chaotic and contradictory Naples, just like the two protagonists, who teeter on the border between the legality they must uphold and the illegality in which they find themselves mixed up in despite themselves. The chaos of the city is counterbalanced by the apparent calm of the beach, near which Peppe lives, in Castel Volturno (CE).

Peppe and Francesco are two Falchi, plain clothes policemen from the special section of the Mobile Squad of Naples, who cruise around the city on motorbikes hunting down criminals. Peppe is a loner, lives on the coast and spends his time training combat dogs, while Francesco has mental health issues and is a drug addict.
