Wealthy Vittorio Basile is the owner of the Megaride, an enormous ship able to register and reproduce everything that happens on board in the form of holograms. He wants to transform the Harbour of Naples into a huge technological hub and the Megaride into a digital archive keeping track of everyone who visits. However, his violent death brings an end to the prosperity of both his ship and the harbour.
Set against the backdrop of a dark and rundown Naples, the story takes place entirely on board the ship, an environment that Mia-Cenerentola, Basile’s daughter left in the care of her stepmother, patrols like a cat, using the ventilation shafts to move around.

Cenerentola has lived on the Megaride, an enormous ship docked in the harbour of Naples, since the day that her father (its owner) was killed 15 years earlier. Ever since, she has been in the shadows of her six stepsisters and the wicked stepmother who, on the advice of her lover Salvatore Lo Giusto, known as ‘o Re, is waiting for her to reach 18 to profit from her inheritance.
