The early 1970s. The Calabrian crime organization 'Ndrangheta is growing in influence and power from the south to the north of the country. Antonio is the son of Giacomo, a boss who has moved from Calabria to Lombardy; a multiple killer who realizes he's not suited to the life: killing has become an unbearable burden. He is repulsed by blood, a disgust first physical then moral, which, however, endangers himself and the people he loves. While his peers are rebelling in the streets, in factories and universities, he is increasingly repelled by the exercise of power and his father's ferocity. He must find the courage to stand up to his father and plot a revenge against him that will be worse than death.
