The litorale di Cefalù is the city beach, extending alongside the beachwalk (lungomare), and features a wealth of picturesque views. To the east is the old harbour dominated by the imposing bulk of the fortress and Norman cathedral. Over 1.5 km in length, the beach has fine golden sand and a clear, transparent sea. Most of the city’s night life can be found near the beach, especially in the summer season.
