Following the success of the first call of 2025, which assigned over €1M in support for audiovisual productions, the second session of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Film Fund, promoted by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Film Commission - PromoTurismoFVG, is now underway. The Region has again confirmed its backing for this important means of supporting productions for 2025, thanks also to the FVGFC structure’s excellent results in the previous three years.

The Film Fund supports independent audiovisual production companies (Italian, EU and non-EU) whether sole producers, co-producers or executive producers who choose to shoot in Friuli Venezia Giulia, with the aim of boosting local employment, developing the region’s economy and promoting its cultural, natural and environmental resources. The fund strongly supports the adoption of green practices and the employment of technical and artistic workers from the region.

Contributions will be granted to film and audiovisual production companies holding ATECO codes (or equivalent NACE Rev.2) 59.11 or 59.12, for: series, fiction or documentary; fictional works no shorter than 52 minutes; documentaries; and, short films.

The third session will open in July with a deadline at the end of September.

The contribution granted will vary according to the type of work presented and the score attributed in the evaluation phase. The complete regulation, with required documentation and information on how to submit the application is on the FVG Film Commission – PromoTurismoFVG website.
