Simeri Mare, the coastal hamlet of Simeri Crichi is located on the Ionian coast outside Catanzaro lido, at the foot of the Roccani hill. It is known for the seaside destination of Chiusa, which has a number of beach resorts. Simeri Mare has a stretch of white sand beach approximately 3 km long, and a wide coastal road with holiday resorts, hotels and other accommodation.
