The Laimburg Agricultural and Forestry Experimentation Center in Vadena (Bolzano) is the main South Tyrolean research institute dedicated to the broad spectrum of topics related to agriculture. The research places particular value on the practical and works to increase the competitiveness of South Tyrolean agriculture through decisive scientific progress. The experimental fields and laboratories are the setting for the search for solutions to the problems of agricultural practice and for research and development of sustainable strategies for the future. Since its foundation in 1975, the Laimburg Centre has built a reputation as a key German-speaking agricultural research institution.
