Shaping European co-productions - A conversation with MEDIA beneficiaries on how to build strong European projects across long and short formats. The talk will explore the process behind a successful European co-production, focusing on creative development, cross-border collaborations, emerging talents and strategies to reach wider audiences.
The event is organized by the Creative Europe Desk Italy MEDIA in collaboration with Ru-mòre – Cinema and Audiovisual Experimentation Festival and the Italian Short Film Center and will take place in Rome at Cinema Tibur on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 2:30 to 4:00 pm. The discussion will be held in English.
The session will open with an introduction to the Creative Europe MEDIA Programme and the opportunities available for content creation. It will then continue with production companies that have benefited from MEDIA support sharing their journey within the Programme and their experience in co-producing European works across different formats.
