Requests for support of the phases of screenplay development and writing in Campania may be submitted from today until 18 September. The aim of the “Enhancing Creativity” scheme is to encourage independent production companies in Campania to support young writers in the development and writing of screenplays for feature-length films that present a re-interpretation of the key values of the region’s culture, tradition and contemporary nature for an international audience, and that meet the technical and quality requirements of the domestic and international audiovisual market.
The budget of €55k is aimed at supporting the development of two works of fiction, over 52 minutes long, and a creative documentary. The maximum grant available are €20k for drama and €15k for documentary.
