Where it was filmed 'The Bourne Identity'

The scenes that make up the first 10 minutes of the film were filmed in Imperia and near its port. The man who discovers he is agent Bourne is found injured and with amnesia by an Italian fishing boat off the Ligurian coast. A fisherman by the name of Giancarlo removes the bullets from his body and helps him to recover. After getting his strength back, Jason decides that the time has come to find out who he is and where he comes from. It is then that he sees the boat nearing Oneglia pier (Imperia), instantly recognisable for its lighthouse. Jason gets off the boat in Imperia, with its long profile of coloured houses, and we see him walking on solid ground for the first time along its port. His next destination is the bank of Zurich, which is what the bank code he finds under his skin relates to. After finding some clues as to his identity, Jason travels to Paris where, together with the young Marie, he faces off with assassins from Rome and Barcelona. Only after securing his freedom does he catch up with Marie in Greece to build a new life for himself.
