A series of four tracks are set in Abruzzo. There’s no direct reference to real life locations or monuments in Abruzzo, although elements of the landscape are typically Italian (for example, small towns perched on the mountains). As this is a futuristic driving game, could this be a representation of how Abruzzo will one day look?

Racing game
An Italian game that clearly pays tribute to great classics of the likes of F-Zero and Wipeout. Redout, according to the official description, “was designed to guarantee the player a fast, tough and satisfying driving experience, drenched in the vertigo at the heart of the arcade racing genre. The levitation system and the driving model are based on physical forces: every curve, slope, hard braking and burning acceleration, every bend and turn in the track applies its own unique force to the player’s ship. Clear graphics mix low-poly landscapes and items with shaders and state-of-the-art lights […] Windswept coastlines, motionless icy landscapes, vast desert plains: the dystopian atmosphere of a semi-abandoned Earth provides the backdrop for the most compelling, fast and violent races ever designed”.
