Juliet’s Tomb is located in an underground crypt, next to the cloister of 12^th century Convent of San Francesco al Corso in Verona The crypt houses an open red marble sarcophagus that recent tradition holds is Juliet’s resting place.
The convent complex comprising Juliet’s tomb also houses the Fresco museum named for Giovanni Battista Cavalcaselle, a 19^th century art critic and historian. The museum exhibits frescoes, sculptures and 22 large, restored paintings in the adjacent Church of San Francesco al Corso.
