The Call for selective grants for cinematographic works produced as a co-production or minority international co-participation – Year 2024 (Bando per la concessione di contributi selettivi alle opere cinematografiche realizzate in regime di coproduzione o di compartecipazione internazionale minoritaria – Anno 2024) is now online on the website of the Directorate-General for Cinema and Audiovisual of the Ministry of Culture.
With a €6M budget, the call regulates grants for the production of feature-length films in international co-production, including research and training works, where Italian participation in the production is the minority partner.
The single session is open from November 13 to December 18, 2024.
Requirements include that the Italian production companies must hold no less than 20% of the rights to the work or 10% if companies from more than two countries are involved.
The maximum grant is €300k for 60% of the eligible costs within the share owned by the Italian company.
