Lazio Region: call for applications for €9 million in production support

The Region of Lazio, which provides financing support for the production of Italian, European and foreign film and audio-visual works with an annual fund of €9 million, has published a call for submissions.

Grant recipients may be individual or family-owned businesses, partnerships or limited companies, working exclusively, or prevalently, in film and audio-visual production. Requests should be submitted by 23 May 2019 (12.00 noon) only through the dedicated application platform.

Production companies may request funding for works that meet the following requirements:

• shooting was completed within the limits outlined in the call (31 December 2018);
• the work is recognised as a “cultural product”, on the basis of the cultural eligibility test included in the published call;
• the work must have been partially, or entirely, shot in the territory of Lazio.

A single production company may submit up to 4 projects and receive a maximum contribution of 500,000 euro.
