“Lombardia per il cinema” returns for a second edition with € 3M for productions

Applications from November 11 to January 22

The Regione Lombardia has launched the second edition of "LOMBARDIA PER IL CINEMA", a call for proposals with a €3 million budget. The call supports small and medium-sized businesses in the audiovisual and film production sector with the production of cultural audiovisual works intended for national and international distribution in Lombardy.

The call funds up to 50% of eligible costs for works produced in Lombardy, from the two categories below:

Category A:

• Feature-length films (live action or animation) with a minimum run time of 52 minutes (maximum contribution €250,000)
• Series (live action or animation) (maximum contribution €300,000)

Category B:

• Documentaries with a minimum run time of 52 minutes, including animation (maximum contribution €75,000)
• Documentary series, including animated series (maximum contribution €150,000).

Applications must be submitted online through the "Bandi e Servizi" platform and will be accepted from 10:00 a.m. November 11, 2025, to 4:00 p.m. on January 22, 2026.  All times CET.
