The Call for proposals to support drama and documentary audiovisual production, as part of the Accordo di Programma Quadro Sensi Contemporanei – Toscana per il cinema, is accepting submissions until 28 October.
The Call, available on the Toscana Film Commission website, is aimed at the production of works of fiction (feature length films, TV films, TV series) and documentaries, to encourage the reboot of production activity in Tuscany, with particular attention to the Area Vasta Centro (metropolitan area of Florence, Prato and Pistoia) following the difficulties experienced during the COVID-19 emergency in 2020.
The resources available for 2020 total € 325,000, allocated as follows:
Individual contributions are capped at €100,000 for works of fiction and €20,000 for documentary projects, and, in both categories, at not more than 50% of eligible costs (with the possibility of increasing to 80% for difficult projects).
Spending in the regional area must be equal to at least 150% of the contribution granted for works of fiction and at least 100% for documentary projects.
