This piece of science fiction by Pacinotti, which unexpectedly places humans and aliens side by side, is loosely based on the comic strip Nessuno mi farà del male by Giacomo Monti. The entire film was shot in Tuscany, near Pisa. A number of locations were chosen in and around Pisa, above all Cascina, a town located on the right bank of the River Arno, where the scenes unfolding in the bingo hall where Luca works and first sees the aliens were shot. Luca’s father’s home, an isolated farmstead, is instead actually located in the hilly town of Lari, a district of Casciana Terme. Shooting also took place in the towns of Vecchiano, Tirrenia and Pontedera, all of which are located in the province of Pisa.
