Where it was filmed 'The Station'

The Station, Sergio Rubini’s directorial debut, starring Ennio Fantastichini and Margherita Buy, is based on the play of the same name by Umberto Marino. Rubini, who hails from Puglia, appears in the role of Domenico, stationmaster in a small town in that region whose routine is broken one rainy night when a beautiful, young woman, fleeing a party and her boyfriend, bursts into the station.

The film is almost entirely set inside the San Marco in Lamis (Foggia) station of the Ferrovie del Gargano. The scenes in town were shot in Grumo Appula and Apricena (Foggia).

Plot
