Where it was filmed 'La ricetta della felicità'

La ricetta della felicità is an 8-episode series directed by Giacomo Campiotti and filmed on the Romagna Riviera.

In Milan, Marta Rampini (Cristiana Capotondi) is surprised by the sudden disappearance of her husband Enrico (Flavio Parenti); he has vanished into thin air, sought by the police on charges of money laundering. Faint memories suggest that the mystery stems from a weekend her missing husband spent many years earlier in the seaside town of Marina di Romagna. Deciding to follow her instincts, Marta moves to the town with her daughter Greta (Nicky Passerella) and mother-in-law Rosa (Valeria Fabrizi), and sets about investigating with all the determination of someone with nothing to lose.

Marina di Romagna is a fictional place that encompasses some of the most iconic elements of the Romagna Riviera, created as a combination of Rimini, Riccione, Cervia, Cesenatico, and Ravenna.

Stranded by an unreliable car, she stumbles upon a friendly community of family and friends who live in the somewhat ramshackle "La Rotonda" - a "guesthouse/piadina-bar/service station" - run by Susanna (Lucia Mascino) and her extended family: brother Giacomo (Eugenio Franceschini) and father Giovà (Andrea Roncato). Here, just outside the tourist bustle of the Romagna Riviera, nestled in a typical Romagna setting of sea, beaches, villages, discos, and dance halls, Marta finds refuge during the most difficult time of her life and discovers that happiness hides where you least expect it.
