The dunes of Passoscuro (RM) are three kilometres of natural environment, crisscrossed by the water courses flowing from the rivers Fosso Cupino in the North and Palidoro to the south.
Near the beach area is the medieval tower of Polidoro. As a commemorative plaque attests, this was the site of the execution of Brigadier Salvo D’Acquisto by the Nazis in 1943.
