Marina di Pisticci is a coastal hamlet of the municipality of Pisticci (MT). The stretch of Ionian coastline, about 8km long, borders with Scanzano and the Porto degli Argonauti and is famed for its long sandy beaches and crystal-clear shallow waters. Private residences alternate with resorts between the beach clubs of San Basilio and San Teodoro.
The ancient borgo of Pisticci stands about 29km from the seaside resort while the surrounding territory is dotted with the badlands (calanchi) typical of the area, clay ravines created by water erosion.
