Marina di Sestri Ponente is a tourist marina in the west of the Municipality of Genoa, built adjacent to the raised embankment of the Cristoforo Colombo airport runway. The marina hosts numerous tourism and travel businesses and specialist nautical services.
Completed in 2007, the creation of Marina Genova significantly modified and requalified the urban morphology of the area. Today the harbour has 431 mooring posts for ships up to 130m in length, including 100 specifically for 24m+ yachts, a water surface area of 210,000 sqm, 1,500 docks, 2,500 parking spaces and a covered area of 38,000 sqm.
