Apulia Development Film Fund: applications from 2 to 31 October

Funding requests may be submitted to the Apulia Development Film Fund, the call published by the Fondazione Apulia Film Commission as de minimis aid, from 2 to 31 October 2023. With an overall budget of €200k, the fund is aimed at micro, small and medium sized business to support the development and pre-production of feature-length films, TV series, documentaries and works of animation with the intent of promoting the locations of Apulia.

The Development Fund aims to encourage the creative potential of writers and increase the attraction of Apulia as a set for audiovisual productions while also promoting the beauty and variety of the region’shistorical, artistic and natural heritage.

To this end, the audiovisual works requesting funding must possess at least ONE of the following requirements:

• The story is entirely – or majority – set in Apulia;
• The work is written by a writer from Apulia;
• The work is an adaptation of a literary work by a writer from Apulia.

Furthermore, one project from each Category will have the right to participate in the next edition of the coproduction forum - Apulia Film Forum – organized by Fondazione Apulia Film Commission.
