Netflix is due to release the fourth season of Emily in Paris in two parts, on 15 August and 12 September.  The hit series stars Lily Collins as an ambitious marketing director from Chicago who unexpectedly lands the job of her dreams in Paris. The company she works for has bought out a high-end French company and she must launch its new social media strategy.

Emily’s new life in the city of lights is full of alcohol-fuelled adventures and surprising challenges that see her trying to win over her colleagues, make friends and handle new love affairs.

'Emily in Paris' – Shooting in Rome

While set and shot for the most part in Paris, several excursions take Emily out of the French capital. In Season 4, Emily – in an echo of Audrey Hepburn – gives herself a Roman holiday, visiting the Colosseum and other iconic sights in the city.

Emily in Paris is a romantic comedy created by Darren Star, who is also the screenwriter and executive producer. The cast includes Collins (also a producer) Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Lucas Bravo, Samuel Arnold, Camille Razat and Bruno Gouery.

What happens in Season 4 of 'Emily in Paris'

Season 4 finds Emily shaken after the shocking events at the disastrous wedding of Camille and Gabriel: she has strong feelings for two men but Gabriel’s ex is now pregnant and Alfie’s worst fears about her and the chef have been proved right.

At work, Sylvie finds a solution to a tricky dilemma arising from her past for the good of her marriage while the Agence Grateau team has to manage a change of staff.  Mindy and the band are prepping for Eurovision but, when their money runs out, they have to find ways to save.

The feelings between Emily and Gabriel are undeniable as the two work together for the goal of a Michelin star, but two big secrets threaten to ruin their dreams.
