The dynamic duo of veteran CIA agent JJ (Dave Bautista) and his 14-year-old stepdaughter and protégé Sophie (Chloe Coleman) returns in a new film, My Spy: The Eternal City. JJ and Sophie are called again to save the world, this time while on a school choir trip to Italy which is brusquely interrupted by an evil nuclear plot targeting the Vatican.
The cast of the film, available on Prime from July 18, includes Kristen Schaal, Flula Borg, Craig Robinson, Billy Barratt, Taeho K, with Anna Faris and Ken Jeong, in addition to Dave Bautista and Chloe Coleman. Pete Segal directs again.
In the first instalment of the My Spy saga, released on Prime in 2020, 9-year-old Sophie discovers that CIA agent JJ is keeping an eye on her family. In exchange for her silence, she asks him to teach her how to become a spy.
