The docu-series Italy for Movies has won the 2025 Moige Award in the "Entertainment, culture and information" category. The award, assigned annually by the Italian Parents Movement (Moige), celebrates the best family-friendly content of the year at an event, "A year of Zapping and Streaming", hosted at the Chamber of Deputies in the New Hall of Parliamentary Groups. The award celebrates programming of significant quality that can be watched by the entire family and offers substantial educational content, and rewards the successful efforts of a medium that conciliates quality product, and the need for entertainment in tones and content suitable for family viewing, with audience goals.
Produced by Erma Pictures for Cinecittà, Italy for Movies the series explores Italy through places that have become iconic thanks to large and small films or TV series and lesser-known locations. It is a journey of discovery across those iconic cities in the country that have provided backdrops for some of the most acclaimed films in recent years. The series is a product of the portal www.italyformovies.it which collects information about locations and incentives for film and audiovisual production in Italy.
The award was assigned "for having created a documentary suitable for the whole family that reminds us of the beauty of our country, immersing the viewer in breathtaking secret places, accompanied by visual narration and the critic Giovanni Canova who guides us on this poetic journey".

In addition to the award ceremony, the Moige Media Observatory has published its annual digital guide, “A year of zapping and streaming” - available free of charge on the Moige website – which contains updated analysis of the content offered in the 2024-2025 season, providing an online archive of family-friendly quality in Italian entertainment.
