For this year’s edition, MIA presents Vertical AI, a series of workshops, organized in collaboration with the Creative Europe Desk Italy MEDIA and led by two pioneers in the use of AI to support creators, producers, and distributors — Sami Arpa, CEO and co-founder of Largo.ai, and Céline Udriot, the company’s COO.
These workshops will offer a concrete and strategic journey to explore the opportunities of AI across different stages of production. In line with the priorities of the Creative Europe MEDIA Programme in the field of digital transformation and use of new technologies to enhance competitiveness, the goal is to explore how AI can support the creation of high-quality content and provide concrete tools to better reach audiences, strengthen distribution and marketing strategies, and increase the market potential of projects.
The Vertical AI programme activities will be introduced by a presentation session titled Introduction to the Use of AI in Audiovisual Production, open to all accredited professionals and focused on real-life AI use cases, held on Monday, October 6, 2:30 - 3:30 p.m., at Cinema Barberini, Screening Room 1. Followed by the networking event Coffee with MEDIA.
The workshops, with a closed-doors, interactive format, will present a pragmatic approach, focused on collective development of potential solutions and guidelines provided during the sessions. These workshops, reserved for MIA Industry-accredited participants, require registration - subject to availability. Additional participants may be admitted as attendees, prior to the event.
