The Film Commission d’Abruzzo presents the Advisory Board

The Film Commission d’Abruzzo yesterday presented its Advisory Board North America at the American Film Market where it is the sole Italian representative among 51 participants, to over 100 industry professionals including producers, distributors, directors, technicians and screenwriters. The board includes: Angela Conti Page (producer), Francesco Panzieri (visual effects artist of Star Wars), Victoria Fante (daughter of writer John Fante), Nancy Fulton, Briella Tomassetti, Gianluca Di Medio, Marc Provisiero, Andrew De Angelis, Cristiano Donzelli, Dom Serafini and Enzo Sisti (executive producer of Ladyhawke, The American and No time to die, the latest James Bond episode, shot in Matera).

Mauro Febbo, Regional Councillor for Economic Development, Tourism and Culture (Regione d’Abruzzo), with Francesco Di Filippo, Director for the promotion of tourism and Head of the Film Commission d’Abruzzo, presented the unique nature of the region which features mountains, coastline, landscapes, wild animals, borghi, castles and parks; and the recently-established Film Commission, which is already working to support productions including by building relationships with local bodies and the National Parks, by facilitating the bureaucratic process, and by offering a directory of industry professionals in the region on its portal.

Silvia Chiave, Italian consul in Los Angeles, welcomed guests to the evening with Emanuela Boni, head of Enit, and Roberto Stabile representing ANICA and the Italian Trade Agency, the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism and Italy for Movies.
