On Saturday 21 October the Italy for Movies portal was presented at the MIA – International Audiovisual Market. This year in its 3rd edition, the MIA was held in Rome from 18 to 23 October and is the market platform for film and audiovisual industry professionals. The event is attended by leading figures from the national and international industries, including producers, distributors, international sales representatives and investors.
In a room packed with industry professionals, Dottoressa Maria Giuseppina Troccoli and Professor Bruno Zambardino, representing the Directorate General for Film of the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism, which is coordinating the project, talked about support tools for film and audiovisual productions and the functions of the portal. They also announced new partnerships with IVIPRO – Italian Videogame Programme, CentoStazioni and the Parks and Gardens of Italy Association, which will allow the portal to show the world the great opportunities Italy represents for the audiovisual world.
