Call for applications for audiovisual production support - Fiction and Documentary - Tuscany

Description

This call for applications, set up as part of the APQ Sensi Contemporanei Programme, is for funding, for the production of new audiovisual projects in the region which haven’t yet entered the production stage, or for which filming started on or after 1 January 2020, and which will finish shooting within a year of the date on which the grant agreement is signed.
This call for applications covers the following audiovisual projects (of a duration of more than 52 minutes):

Feature films mainly for theatrical release
TV fiction
TV series
Documentary

Fiction: €100,000

Minimum spend in the territory:

Fiction: 150% of the total amount granted
Documentary: 100% of the total amount granted

Each company may apply for the present call for applications with one project only.

Companies applying:

must have been listed in the Registro delle Imprese (Register of Companies) at least 24 months preceding the date of publication of the incentive (or the national equivalent of the Registro delle Imprese if European and overseas companies)
must be either the single producer of the project or co-producers with a majority stake or with a minority stake of at least 20%).

The grant will be paid as follows:

FICTION

first instalment: 30% in advance, to be paid upon signing the agreement;
second instalment: 40% in advance, to be paid within five months of signing the agreement and upon delivering the expense report and accounting documentation for the 70% paid in the first and second installments;
remaining 30% upon completion of the project and upon submitting the final expense report (which should be submitted within 20 months of signing the agreement).

DOCUMENTARY

first instalment: 50% in advance, to be paid upon signing the agreement;
remaining 50% upon completion of the project and upon submitting the final expense report (which should be submitted within 20 months of signing the agreement).

Filming must be completed within a year of signing the agreement.
