Description

Filming Cagliari is a fund for Italian, European and non-European production companies with television series, fictional feature film and documentary/docu-fiction projects. It offers a direct form of funding that aims to cover expenses incurred directly by the beneficiary producer exclusively within the Municipality of Cagliari.

Requirements

Minimum spend in the territory:
€15,000 must be spent in Sardegna;
120% of the grant amount awarded must be spent within the municipality of Cagliari.

Eligible expenses are those incurred within the Municipality of Cagliari between 1 January and 31 December 2023. The amount must be granted to individuals or legal entities with legal and/or operational headquarters or residence in the Comune of Cagliari.

Payment schedule

The grant may be disbursed in the following ways:

In two payments:

Beneficiaries may request an advance payment of up to 50% (amount to be specified in the request). Following assignation of the grant, the advance payment will be disbursed on presentation of a fiduciary guarantee made out to Fondazione Sardegna Film Commission for the amount requested;
The balance will be disbursed after verification of the final accounting reports.

In a single payment:

The grant will be disbursed in a single payment after delivery of the final accounting reports.
