Lu-Ca

Description

Lu-Ca aims to make Basilicata and Calabria more attractive by subsidising audiovisual productions filmed entirely or partially in the two regions.
The contribution of €150,000 (€75,000 from the Calabria Film Commission Foundation and €75,000 from the Lucana Film Commission Foundation) is for European production companies with a majority stake in the film project submitted (feature film, short film, documentary or web series) who commit to spending at least 100% of the contribution amount in these regions, or with economic operators with their operational headquarters or tax domicile in Basilicata or Calabria before the publication of the call for applications.

Requirements

Minimum spend in the territory:
100% of the contribution has been spent in the territories of Basilicata and Calabria

Payment schedule

Payment will take place in three stages:

30% of the contribution granted will be paid, upon presentation of suitable documentation proving that 30% of the taxable portion of the total cost of the project has been spent;
50% of the contribution granted will be paid, upon presentation of suitable documentation proving that 80% of the taxable portion of the total cost of the project has been spent;
The remaining amount of the contribution granted will be paid upon conclusion of the post-production stage and upon presentation of suitable final spending report and the film product itself.
