North of the outlet of the River Arno, in the heart of the Migliarino, San Rossore, Massaciuccoli Natural Park, is Marina di Vecchiano, a sandy stretch of coastline not far from some of most beautiful towns in Tuscany. The coastline extends along 4km of golden sand, and is one of the few remaining unspoiled stretches of Tuscan coast, immersed in sand dunes of rare beauty. The sandy shore is largely free to use, while the portions of beach with facilities are fitted with wooden structures that blend in with their surroundings.
