The Solda funiculars, characterised by picturesque stations, traverse the rocky terrain of the Alte Alps, on the edge of glaciers and the moraine pass of the Ortles massif, in the midst of the Stelvio National Park. The largest aerial funicular in the Alps began working regularly again in 2003 and has 4 cabins, each with a capacity of 110 people.
