The Beach of Vignanotica is situated on the Provincial Road (SP53) joining Vieste and Mattinata, about 20km from Vieste. This splendid beach of mixed sand and gravel, about 500m long, is surrounded by white limestone cliffs which create an enchanting stetting. For several months a year the beach is empty and quiet, a paradise for romantics. During the summer, it fills up as the beach resorts prepare for visitors.
