The Medici Villa at Poggio a Caiano, built between the 15th and 16th centuries, represents one of the main models of Renaissance villas with characteristic elements of Tuscan rural architecture. Now state-owned, it houses two museum nuclei: one dedicated to the historical flats and the other to the Museo della Natura Morta. The Villa is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List of Cultural and Natural Heritage Sites.
