Villa Molin-Kofler, on the Battaglia canal, was built in 1597 for Nicolò Molin, Savio di Terraferma and Ambassador of the Republic of Venice to England and the Grand Duchy of Tuscany, husband of the daughter of the Doge Alvise Grimani. Designed by architect Vincenzo Scamozzi, it is one of the most important buildings in Padua.
It houses a precious collection of works of art that spans four centuries: Renaissance, Baroque, Neoclassic styles coexist harmoniously. The frescoed salon has an impressive height of almost 13 meters. The 33,000 m2 park has an Italian garden with avenues lined with boxwood and 18th century statues. The romantic grove with a pond and century-old trees offers an unexpected landscape. The villa also has a large parking area.
