Villa Rigoni in Abano Terme (Padua), property of the Rigoni Savioli family since the early 19th century, was built in the style of Palladian Venetian villas by the Moro Malipiero family of Venice in the second half of the 16th century.
The heart of the architectural complex is the central building (or manor house) which, as the residence of the owners was more elaborate and ornate, a place for entertaining as well as a summer residence.
The facade of the central building of Villa Rigoni Savioli has four semi-columns of the Ionic order beneath a large pediment; the staircase, flanked by two Vicenza stone statues by Costozza (like those on the three gates) leads to the central salon of the piano nobile. The ground floor holds a cellar with vaulted ceilings and other rooms.
The villa is surrounded by a garden and three orchards; it features barchesse and a dovecote tower. The rear orchard has a well of thermal water which was damaged during WWII. The estate also holds a consecrated church.
