Historic Villa dei Cipressi is one of the “Ville Venete”, recognised for its historical and artistic value. It was built at the end of the 1800s at the top of the village of Sona (Verona).
The villa is surrounded by a garden that is centuries old with a panoramic view over the plain of Verona. The fountain with waterlilies, the reed grove, conifers and ancient cypresses all add to the beauty of the park, creating an evocative and romantic atmosphere.
Also safeguarded by the protection of “Belle Arti” legislation is the historic viale dei Cipressi which starts at the villa, extending to the tip of Monte Corno over the surrounding countryside, with Verona to the east, lake Garda to the west and the Dolomites to the north.
