Fondazione Marche Cultura, an intermediate body of the Regione Marche, has published its 2024 Call for Proposals to encourage the production of audiovisual works, with the aim of increasing the competitiveness of industry companies and professionals in the Marche.

The €3 million Call is the second session in a three-year programme, totalling €16 million, with PR FESR 2021-27 funds allocated by the Regione Marche in support of the audiovisual sector.

Applications may be submitted from 28 June to 12.00 on 25 July 2024 via the SIGEF platform.

The largest quota, € 2.4 million, is earmarked for feature-length films, TV films and series with €600 k for documentaries, short films and formats. Both sections will have a particular regard for animation projects.

The maximum non-refundable contributions for feature films and TV films (€500 k), series (€600 k), documentaries (€100 k) and short films (€30 k) have stayed the same as the 2023 call. The maximum amount available for formats is now €80 k per project.

“The second round of funding hopes to repeat the excellent results of 2023, when 107 applications arrived, 65 for films and series, 42 for documentaries, shorts and formats – commented the head of Marche Film Commission, Francesco Gesualdi – These are non-refundable resources well spent, because they generate investments of more than triple the amount financed, offering important job opportunities to the entire audiovisual supply chain in the Marche region”.
