The Call for applications intends to support the competitive growth of Abruzzo's SMEs in the film, audiovisual, and related sectors, while strengthening the relationship between the cultural and landscape heritage of the region and cinematographic works. With the support of the "Abruzzo Film Commission" Foundation and in line with the provisions of Regional Law 20/2023, the Call specifically aims to promote:
The financial resources activated by this Call are allocated as follows:

Audiovisual projects must meet the following requirements at the application date:
Category A - Feature films with a minimum running time of 52 minutes, primarily intended for theatrical release; and Category B - works of fiction, television and web series with a minimum overall running time of 90 minutes, primarily intended for television broadcast, including SVOD:
Category C - creative documentaries with a minimum running time of 52 minutes, primarily intended for theatrical release; documentaries with a minimum running time of 40 minutes in one or more parts, not primarily intended for theatrical release or specifically intended for television broadcast, including SVOD platforms:
Category D - animated feature films with a minimum running time of 52 minutes; animated serial works with a minimum overall running time of 24 minutes:
Category E - fictional short films with a running time of less than 52 minutes; musical short films (music videos); animated short films with a minimum running time of 5 minutes:
The grant will be paid as follows:
Only audiovisual projects with a "start of work" after the date of submission of the grant application are eligible for the grant.
Production of the audiovisual work recipient of the grant must be completed within 18 months from the date of acceptance of the funding grant (24 months for animation). An extension of up to six months may be requested.
