Requirements

Eligible films for the call:

films registered in the Public Register of Cinematographic and Audiovisual works;
films provided with a definitive Italian nationality;
films whose definitive copy has been deposited at the Italian National Film Archive;
films produced within 36 months prior to the submission date of the application;
THEATRICAL films distribution agreements with domestic distributors must include theatrical rights;
films distribution agreements with domestic distributors must include theatrical rights;
INTERNET films distribution agreements with domestic distributors must include Internet rights;

THEATRICAL Domestic distributors must:

for feature-length fiction and animation films: programming at least in 5 movie theatres for a minimum of 15 screenings within 21 days from its theatrical release date;
for feature-length ducumentary films: programming in at least3 movie theatres for a minimum of 9 screenings within 21 days from its theatrical release date.

Only the release taking place on the INTERNET on a minimum of 2 online platforms having local, national or international relevance will be considered “Internet release”.

Payment schedule

The results of the call will be published on the website www.cinecitta.com (section Gestione Fondi Cinema - Internazionalizzazione) within 30 working days from the date of the Committee meeting.
