Cinema Producers Fund for co-production markets and training - Funds for Internationalisation

Description

The Ministry of Culture (MiC), in collaboration with Cinecittà and in agreement with the main trade associations, has made available funds for €200,000 for the year 2018 to support independent cinema producers and productions for theatrical release, by facilitating participation at co-production markets, courses, workshops and training labs. The fund is open to Italian feature-length films, documentaries and animated films selected for participation at leading co-production markets or laboratories, workshops and training courses for the development of audiovisual works, specified in the guidelines.

The fund is available to cover specific expenses and will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.

Requirements

Eligible sales companies are privately owned, fiscally resident in Italy and have been attributed the ATECO code 59.13;

Films are eligible only if destined for theatrical release; 

Eligible expenses are those dating from 30 days preceding to 30 days following the date of the film’s premiere.

Payment schedule

Payment will be made after verification and within 60 days.

The companies must pay all the itemized expenses within 30 days of receiving the grant.

Notes

Application forms and annexes must be sent by e-mail to the Desk: international@anica.it within 60 days from the date of the conclusion of the event for events following the publication of this announcement.

The results will be published annually on the website of Cinecittà.
