Villa Belinzaghi, built in 1864 by Giacomo Bussi, near the centre of Cernobbio (Como), is surrounded by a park of approximately 8,000 sqm. The building entrance overlooks a small square that marks the boundary of the town towards Villa d'Este.
Its simple, symmetrical lines, a style described by contemporaries as "modern English", suggest a design that was highly focused on the functionality of the spaces. The villa has a penthouse above the main floor and a walled dock.
