Antonio and Pieraldo share many things: careers that do not always bloom, a partnership that is not always solid and a long-standing but rather bruised bond; lives overly quiet for two police officers that fate has knowingly intertwined. Pieraldo's partner, Matilde, is Antonio's ex-wife; Maria – their daughter - lives with her mother and Pieraldo.
