Belfort Castle is a medieval castle now in ruins located in Spormaggiore in the province of Trento. The castle dates back to 1311, although partly ruined, it is still impressive and clearly visible. It has an ancient crenellated tower, surrounded by large rectangular perimeter walls, while the floors and ceilings have long since collapsed. The ruins of the castle are clearly visible from the road that leads from Cavedago to Spormaggiore. Recently it was made accessible with a metal structure that allows you to climb up to half the height of the tower.
